PlayStation Vita Right Button Board Replacement Complete Guide¶
Overview¶
The PlayStation Vita right button board contains the action buttons (△○×□), right analog stick, and related circuitry. Damage to this board can cause partial or complete failure of right-side control functions. This guide provides detailed instructions for replacing the PS Vita right button board.
Required Tools¶
- Cross-head screwdriver (PH00)
- Plastic spudger
- Tweezers
- New PS Vita right button board
- Anti-static wrist strap (recommended)

- Power off completely: Ensure PS Vita is fully powered down

Detailed Steps¶
Step 1: Remove Back Panel¶
- Remove back panel according to your model
- Carefully detach back panel
Step 2: Complete Power Disconnection¶
- Disconnect battery connector
- Ensure device is completely powered off
Step 3: Access Right Button Board¶
- Right button board is located on right side of device
- May require partial frame disassembly
- Expose right button board

- Install back panel
