Required Tools¶
- Phillips screwdriver (PH00)
- Plastic spudger
- New PS Vita rear panel
- Anti-static wrist strap (recommended)

Step-by-Step Instructions¶
Step 1: Preparation¶
- Completely power down the PS Vita
- Remove all external accessories
- Lay a soft cloth on your work surface
Step 2: Remove Old Rear Panel¶

- Locate the seam along the rear panel edge
- Use plastic spudger to start prying from a corner
- Slowly work along the edge, releasing all clips
- Once all clips are released, gently remove the rear panel

- Use plastic spudger to gently pry open the rear panel

- Carefully remove the rear panel

- Use plastic spudger to gently lift the cable lock

- Completely remove the old rear panel
